The UAE is participating in a meeting to study "The targeted Arab draft law to prevent hate speech"

Cairo, April 30 / WAM / The United Arab Emirates participated in the work of the fifth meeting of the Joint Committee, including experts and representatives of the ministries of justice, the interior, and the relevant authorities in the Arab countries, which were held at the Arab League in Cairo, to study “the guiding Arab draft law to prevent hate speech.”

The Minister of Commissioner d. Maha Bakhit, Director of the Legal Affairs Department at the League of Arab States, that the convening of this meeting comes in implementation of the decision of the Council of Arab Justice Ministers.

She explained that the participants in this meeting discussed the articles of the “Arab Rights Law to prevent hate speech”, which was proposed by the Ministry of Justice in the State of Kuwait, to lay the final formula of the draft law.
