The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the opening of registration in the new course of the study missions program in the diplomatic field, from today until the first of next June, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the program provides academic opportunities in specializations in one of the prestigious international universities for those wishing to build their future in the diplomatic field.

The Ministry stated that its scholarship program provides an opportunity for outstanding Emirati students to complete their course, and send them to one of the prestigious international universities, with the aim of specializing in areas that meet the needs of Emirati diplomacy, and provide them with Emirati cadres and a qualified generation according to the finest levels.

She indicated that the goals of the program are to prepare qualified national competencies from scholarship students, contributing to the drawing and leadership of the future of Emirati diplomacy, the development of diplomatic leaders capable of positively influencing the international arena, and providing students with the necessary skills and competencies to become pioneers and makers of change in the foreign policy of the UAE.

It also aims to consolidate the culture of innovation and excellence in the field of diplomacy, which contributes to enhancing positive change and continuous development, and enabling the scholarship students to achieve unprecedented achievements in the diplomatic corps, by providing tools that help them excellence and support the Emirates march.

She explained through its website the conditions for application and acceptance to join the program of scholarships, and includes that he is a citizen of the United Arab Emirates (holders of the Emirati passport and the essence of the registration), and that the good conduct and behavior be according to a certificate from the concerned authorities approved in the country, and that the student’s age is not less than 17 years and not more than 22 years, with the approval of the guardian, and that he holds a high school diploma by a rate of no less than 90%, And holding a certificate of efficiency in the English language (6.5 Academic IELTS) or its equivalent from the “TOEFL”, and holds an academic acceptance to study from the university according to the list of universities and specializations approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Students are also required to approve a third language study, if they are asked to do so, and to agree to work in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the diplomatic corps for a period equivalent to the years of study, and agree to enter the Anwar Gargash diplomatic academy after graduation.

Male students must provide an exemption or termination certificate from the national service.

The procedures for enrollment include a number of tests and interviews, then the student will pass through three stages after admission until he becomes an Emirati diplomat, starting to scholarship abroad to study and obtain a bachelor’s degree, then join the Anwar Gargash Diplomacy Academy and obtain a diploma in graduate studies specialized in the Emirati diplomacy and international relations, and the last stage is to enroll in Working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and appointing the diplomatic corps after completing the graduation requirements.
