The UAE is interested in enhancing its economic partnerships with Latin America

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him and the President of the Republic of Ecuador, Daniel Nuboa, yesterday discussed the paths of joint work to enhance bilateral relations, especially in the fields of economics and trade, renewable energy and sustainability, investment, tourism, agriculture, etc., in a way that is good, prosperity and development for the two countries and peoples.
His Highness the President of the State – during the meeting that took place at the Beach Palace in Abu Dhabi – the President of Ecuador, again welcomed his congratulations on winning a new presidential period, wishing him success in the Ecuador leadership towards more progress and development.
The two sides affirmed the mutual keenness to enhance joint work in order to push the development cooperation relations towards broader horizons during the coming years, in addition to investing the opportunities available in the course of these relations, in a way that serves the joint development of the two countries.
His Highness the President of the State and the President of Ecuador also reviewed a number of issues of common concern, and exchanged views on them, stressing the importance of working for peace and stability at the regional and global levels, in the interest of peoples in development and prosperity.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed that the relations between the UAE and Ecuador are witnessing a remarkable development, pointing to His Highness to the aspiration of the two countries to achieve a qualitative shift in the course of their cooperation, especially the economist.
His Highness added that the UAE is concerned with strengthening its economic partnerships with Latin American countries, and has made important steps in this path during the last period, and this is a source of support for relations between the UAE and Ecuador.
For his part, the President of Ecuador expressed his thanks to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the warm reception, stressing his country’s keenness to strengthen its relations with the Emirates, especially in the economic fields.
