The Lebanese President of the Editor -in -Chief of Media Institutions in the State: My meeting with Mohammed bin Zayed exceeded expectations .. He reveals structural reforms for economically recovery
Abu Dhabi on May 1/ WAM/ His Excellency Lebanese President Joseph Aoun met with heads of liberation of local media institutions in the country, as part of his official visit to the United Arab Emirates, and during the meeting, journalists asked a number of questions about relations between the two countries and bilateral and regional issues.
His Excellency expressed his great appreciation for the warm reception and generous hospitality that he had received since his arrival in the state, praising the meeting that he gathered with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State “may God protect him”, describing him as “the meeting that exceeded expectations”, noting that the feelings of welcome were present since the first phone call that took place between them before the visit.
The Lebanese President valued the UAE’s fixed and supportive positions of Lebanon at various stations, stressing that these positions embody the depth of historical and fraternal relations between the two brotherly peoples.
His Excellency touched on the developments of the situation in Lebanon, noting that the political and security path is moving towards stability, and that the Lebanese government is making unremitting efforts to improve the economic and living conditions, by implementing a package of necessary structural reforms.
The Lebanese President pointed to promises from Arab and friendly countries to support Lebanon, noting that this support is linked to the implementation of the reforms that the government has already started to implement, in the context of its endeavor to achieve recovery and economic advancement.
On the security side, His Excellency affirmed that the internal situation is under control, despite external threats, praising the efforts of the Lebanese security services and their high efficiency in maintaining security and stability.
The Lebanese President also expressed his pride in the Lebanese community residing in the UAE, praising the active and positive role it plays in strengthening bilateral ties, valuing the attention and care it receives by the Emirati leadership.
