المملكة: “The Holy Capital” .. The approval of 3000 regular housing permits for the Hajj season 1446 AH

The Municipality of the Holy Capital (3,149) adopted a regular housing permit for the Hajj season 1446 AH, as part of its efforts to provide a safe and integrated residential environment for the guests of Rahman, after the housing fulfilled all the approved technical and organizational requirements.

Approved permits

The Secretariat indicated that the approved permits included (428,289) residential rooms, distributed over an area exceeding (7.6) million square meters, and its absorptive capacity is more than (1.8) million pilgrims, which reflects the volume of preparations to provide housing solutions with high standards of quality and safety.

Control of housing and services

The Secretariat affirmed its commitment to applying strict control systems to housing, to ensure their compatibility with safety and comfort regulations, in order to keep pace with efforts to improve the quality of life and services in the Hajj environment.
She pointed out that the technical requirements include reviewing construction licenses, architectural plans, safety stairs safety, and generators, in addition to examining maintenance contracts and training workers on safety standards.

She also stressed the verification of the records of the facilities and their conformity with air photographs, and the adherence to the approved formal models and declarations, in order to ensure housing is ready to receive the guests of Rahman with the highest levels of readiness.

The Secretariat continues its field and supervisory work, to ensure that pilgrims’ housing is prepared according to the criteria that guarantee them safe and comfortable residence during the performance of their rituals.
