Sharjah Police seizes a driver who used forged boards and committed 137 violations
The security monitoring systems of the General Command of the Sharjah Police seized a driver who installed forged numbers panels on his vehicle, in an attempt to circumvent the traffic systems, where the security follow -up revealed that the driver committed 137 traffic violations, whose total value exceeded 104 thousand dirhams, and legal measures were taken by registering all violations on his traffic code, and referring him to the Public Prosecution.
The Deputy Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department of Sharjah Police, Colonel Omar Mohamed Boughanim, explained that the driver’s seizure came as an effective coordination fruit between the field traffic elements and the control and control room team, where the vehicle was monitored through the advanced security control systems spread on the internal and external roads in the emirate, which enabled the competent teams to identify the vehicle whose driver intentionally installs the numbers panels that are in the form of the registry officially with the authorities. Colonel Boughanim added that the accurate field follow -up resulted in the tracking of the vehicle’s path, driver seizing and vehicle seizure, as the traffic audit of his commitment to 137 violations reached a total value of 104,730 dirhams, in addition to registering 308 traffic points against him, while the legal reservation period for the vehicle exceeded 764 days.
Colonel Omar Mohamed Boughanim, Deputy Director of Traffic and Patrols Department at Sharjah Police, explained that some of the behaviors committed by drivers – such as installing forged paintings or blurring the numbers – are not just traffic violations, but may turn into criminal cases that require legal accountability.
He pointed out that the Sharjah Police, through its smart system of monitoring and monitoring, follows such abuses with high accuracy, warning of the seriousness of these behaviors, which are a direct threat to road security and the safety of its users, stressing that the General Command of Sharjah Police will not tolerate dealing with these irresponsible practices, and will continue to take firm and deterrent legal measures against all those who have begging themselves to violate the regulations, In order to preserve lives and property, and to enhance the safety and stability of society.
