"Sharjah for the book" and "Investment Bank" They cooperate to support the financial culture of children
Sharjah, May 2 / WAM / The Sharjah Book Authority signed as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the qualitative culture of new generations, a partnership agreement with the “Investment Bank” to produce a book that enhances the financial culture of children, in cooperation with the Sharjah Fund for Publishing Sustainability (Publish), one of the authority’s initiatives aimed at supporting sustainable publication in the UAE.
The signing of the agreement came yesterday on the sidelines of the activities of the sixteenth session of the Sharjah Reading Festival for Children, which was signed by the Sharjah Book Authority, Iman bin Shaybah, director of the Strategic Initiatives Department, and the investment bank Hamida Al -Khalisan, head of the institutional affairs and marketing department in the presence of His Excellency Ahmed bin Rakad Al -Amiri, CEO of the Authority, and His Excellency Idris Al -Rafie, CEO of the Investment Bank.
Under the partnership, the Investment Bank will take care of the production of a fictional book that defines children from the age of 8 years and over the principles of financial culture in a simple and interactive manner and is scheduled to be launched during the next session of the “Sharjah International Book Fair” in cooperation with an Emirati publisher of the “Ashre” program.
His Excellency Ahmed bin Rakad Al -Amiri said that this partnership embodies the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah towards the consolidation of the position of the book in various fields of human building and finding knowledge content that contributes to developing awareness since childhood, and from here we at the Sharjah Book Authority continue our commitment to creating initiatives that bring the book closer to the child’s daily life and give him tools that enhance his curiosity and nourish his imagination and help him and help him Understanding the world around him and through this cooperation, we offer a reading experience that enrichs the child and addresses his reality, in a manner that combines pleasure and value with language and imagination.
For his part, His Excellency Idris Al -Rafie said: We are proud of this partnership with the Sharjah Book Authority, which opens new horizons for teaching children the principles of financial culture in an innovative and experimental style, so enabling generations of money management skills since childhood is not a luxury but rather a need to build a more aware and sustainable society and we at the investment bank believe that real investment starts from the child and that integrating financial knowledge with imagination and creativity is what makes the difference and establishes a generation capable of making smart financial decisions And responsible.
The Sharjah Publishing Fund (Anam), which was established under the directives of Sheikha Badour Bint Sultan Al Qasimi, is a pioneering initiative that enhances the commitment of Sharjah to consolidate the knowledge economy and enrich the experiences and experiences of the new publishers, as it was launched by the Sharjah Book Authority in partnership with the “Emirati Publishers Association” and “The Free Zone of the Sharjah Publishing City” with the aim of supporting publishers and ensuring the flexibility and sustainability of the publishing industry and includes three Paths are: “launch”, “growth” and “innovation”, as each of them supports publishers at different stages of their journey in the world of publishing.
