Social Security and empowerment of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development revealed the most prominent regular controls and field tasks that the social researcher is committed to when implementing home visits, within the procedures used to verify the entitlement of beneficiary families and ensure the fairness of government support.

The most prominent responsibilities of the social researcher

He stressed that the social researcher plays a pivotal role in assessing the living situation of the beneficiaries, through organized tasks that begin in advance coordination with the applicant to determine the date of the field visit, in order to ensure respect for the family’s privacy and its willingness to cooperate.
Among the most prominent responsibilities of the researcher is to verify the address of the beneficiary and his conformity to the registrar in the system, in addition to verifying the number of family members who are actually residing in the residence, in line with the application data submitted.
His duties also include ensuring the accuracy of the data entered and comparing it to the field reality, and documenting the social and economic situation of the family using professional tools that ensure a fair and accurate evaluation of the level of entitlement.

Immediate reporting of family violence

The field researcher is committed to immediate reporting of any indicators related to family violence, neglect or threat to the family or one of its members, through official channels in the ministry, to ensure urgent intervention and take the necessary protection measures.
The Ministry stressed the importance of researchers ’commitment to completely preserve the privacy of the documents and data that are viewed during the visits, and not to use them outside the official framework or disclose them to any non -competent entity.
At the end of the visit, the social researcher submits a detailed report that includes recommendations related to the family’s eligibility and its entitlement to support, as the ministry relies on these reports as part of a series of procedures to determine the extent to which the situation is identical to the standards adopted in guarantee and empowerment programs.
