Archive and National Library platform in "Abu Dhabi Book" Victory of the knowledge community

Abu Dhabi, May 5 / WAM / The archive platform and the national library at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2025 witnessed a large number of seminars, discussion sessions and specialized workshops, which are another goal of the participation of the archive and the national library in the exhibition and a complement to the specialized publications that the platform celebrates, and these activities contribute to enriching knowledge societies.
The archive and National Library platform witnessed the organization of a legal symposium that took place in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice on “arbitration in intellectual property issues” presented by His Excellency Counselor Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud Al -Kamali, Director General of the Judicial Training Institute, in which he affirmed that intellectual property has become the important legal structure in protecting human intellectual investment, noting that the UAE issued a number of laws to protect intellectual property rights.
The symposium highlighted the importance of intellectual property rights and laws in the United Arab Emirates, methods of enforcement of laws, arbitration in intellectual property issues, disputes that can be subject to arbitration, the benefits of arbitration in intellectual property disputes, and the resolution of disputes by arbitration at the international level, the web, arbitration, mediation, and aspects of training and rehabilitation in arbitration in intellectual property disputes.
In the archive and the National Library, a discussion session was also organized on “Reading Clubs and its role in societal awareness”, in which Professor Rawda Al -Mansouri, who established a word club in Al -Watan Library, and Professor Walid Saif Ghaylan from the archive and the national library, participated, and the symposium shed light on the importance of reading clubs in promoting culture and knowledge, exchanging visions, and encouraging reading as the best way to acquire knowledge The renaissance of the nations, while the session touched on the challenges facing the reading clubs.
The archive platform and the National Library of the participants from the exhibition’s pioneers also presented a symposium on the novel “Mothers of Trees … a trip to explore the wisdom of forests” by Dr. Susan Simard, and participated in the discussion session, translating the novel, Professor Basma Al -Misbahi, who talked about her experience in translating the novel, and about the challenges facing translation operations, and Mr. Walid Ghaylan from the archive and the National Library.
The Archive and National Community National Library project, which celebrates the decoration and jewelry in its first session, was the axis of a large number of workshops in the archive and the national library, and a large number of children and the exhibition pioneers participated.
