The President of King Abdulaziz University, Dr. Tarif Al -Ami, sponsored the engineering exhibition entitled “Engineering 360”, which is organized by the College of Engineering at the University Branch in Rabigh.
During the opening ceremony, the President of the University honored the sponsoring companies, in addition to opening the exhibition accompanying the events, which included the pavilions of the sponsoring companies, and an introductory exhibition in the departments and majors of the College of Engineering.

Student innovative projects

It also includes an exhibition of students’ innovative projects, where he listened to explanations on students ’projects and the contents of their innovative works, which contributes to enhancing creativity and innovation in the engineering fields.

The importance of the engineering exhibition is based on reviewing the ideas of students to keep pace with the needs of the future labor market in various engineering disciplines, as it highlights future trends.
This ensures that the university’s outputs in the field of engineering are accompanied by the development of projects in the work environment and the current and future requirements of the Saudi labor market.

Development of renewable industries and energy

The exhibition is witnessing a distinct and varied collection of engineering projects in several areas, including the development of industries, renewable energy and green hydrogen.
The exhibition also includes the 3D printing pavilion, which reviews the most prominent developments in this field, in addition to the student challenge entitled “Hexathon”, in which male and female students compete to find solutions to challenges in the field of future engineering.

The exhibition activities program also includes a series of enrichment workshops and lectures provided by the Saudi Authority and the distinguished faculty members.
