Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed is witnessing the ceremony of the Pritzker Award for Architecture for the year 2025 at the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum

Abu Dhabi, May 5/ WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, witnessed the ceremony of the Pritzker Award for Architecture for the year 2025, which was held at the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum.
The organization of this ceremony embodies the importance of promoting intellectual dialogue and creative exchange, by supporting engineering and architectural designs as basic pillars for sustainable development and cultural diplomacy.
The Abu Dhabi march is based on developing its architectural and cultural scene into contracts of studied investment, which included preserving the urban heritage through projects such as the restoration of the Palace of Al -Hosn and the Cultural Complex, as well as the development of modern international architectural features such as the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum designed Pritzker in 1999), and the Jugonheim Abu Dhabi Museum, designed by Architectural Frank Jeri (Pritzker Award in 1989).
These projects reflect Abu Dhabi’s long -term commitment to the formation of an urban, cultural and comprehensive scene that reflects the privacy of the state and keeps pace with the requirements of the times, which establishes the emirate’s position as a global destination for cultural exchange and architectural excellence.
The Louvre Abu Dhabi, affiliated with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, hosted the ceremony during which the Chinese architect Leo Jiakon was honored by awarding the Pritzker Award for the year 2025, in the presence of a group of the most prominent figures in the field of international architecture, including a number of previous winners of the award.
