The Ministry issued and Dawah and Guidance Today, Tuesday, the first of the month of Shaban for the current year 1447 AH, a set of instructions and directives for preparing mosques during for the year 1447 AH, and emphasis on the regulations and instructions regulating the work of In all regions of the Kingdom, in a way that contributes to serving the worshipers and achieving the Ministry’s mission and general objectives, coinciding with the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan.
The circular stressed to the employees of the mosques, including imams and muezzins, the need for complete regularity in work, and not to be absent except when absolutely necessary, with those who are assigned to work during the period of absence after the approval of the relevant branch, according to the period allowed by law, and submitting a pledge not to breach responsibility.
Adhan dates
He also stressed adherence to the times of the call to prayer according to the Umm al-Qura calendar, and to raise the call to prayer for the evening prayer at the specified time, taking into account the duration of the iqama after the call to prayer for each prayer, especially the evening and dawn prayers, so that the period between the call to prayer and the iqama is fifteen minutes, to facilitate the worshipers, and to take into account the conditions of the people during Tarawih prayers, And finishing the Tahajjud prayer in the last ten days before the call to dawn prayer in a way that is not difficult for the worshipers.
The circular also stipulated the importance of adhering to the Prophet’s guidance in the supplication of Qunoot, that the supplication be with humility and humility, without prolonging or affectation in the saj’, with a focus on the correct supplications that are recited, in addition to the imam delivering scientific lessons during the month of Ramadan to the congregation of the mosque, according to what was stated in the circulars. Controls for installing cameras
The Ministry stressed the necessity of adhering to the controls for installing cameras in mosques, not using them to photograph the imam or worshipers during prayer, preventing the transfer or broadcast of prayers through any media, stressing the prohibition of begging inside or around the mosque, and immediately informing the security authorities when noticing any violation, while ensuring that zakat and alms are directed to those who are legally entitled to them.
The circular included an emphasis on following up those secluded in mosques, Verifying their data, obtaining the approval of the approved sponsor for non-Saudis, and preventing the collection of financial donations for Iftar projects for fasting people and others.
Organizing Iftar for fasting people
The Ministry also stressed organizing Iftar for fasting people in prepared places in mosque courtyards, under the responsibility of the imam and muezzin, with cleaning the sites immediately after completion, organizing donations of water bottles in proportion to the needs of the mosque, and not storing large quantities in warehouses.
The circular also included directing the relevant authorities. In the Ministry, there is a need to intensify the efforts of mosque servants and maintenance teams to ensure the cleanliness and preparation of mosques, while taking care of women’s prayer rooms, and for observers to follow up on the implementation of all directives, prepare daily reports on field tours, and submit observations and address them immediately.
