His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, stressed that the unification of the armed forces is a precious national memory of our hearts, during which we evoke a prominent station in the path of national achievements, and a basic building block of our union’s daughters, indicating that over 49 years our armed forces formed a impenetrable fortress for the security of the homeland, and everyone who lives on its land.

His Highness added, in a speech addressed to the members of the armed forces, on the occasion of the 49th anniversary of its unification, that thanks to your efforts in the multiple humanitarian tasks, and your constant standing alongside the affected groups during disasters and crises, the reputation of our armed forces, national and international, has become a prominent title of giving and brotherhood, stressing His Highness that these human tasks embodied the sincere faith in the noble principles that instilled the founding father And his brothers are the rulers in all generations.

His Highness said that on this great day of the history of our valiant armed forces, I have mercy on the lives of all our righteous martyrs who sacrificed their lives to enjoy our dear homeland with security and safety, and to continue the march of our union, firmly tall, and an inspiring lesson in the love of the country.

“My sons and daughters are the members of the armed forces, peace and God’s mercy and blessings, today we commemorate a precious national memory of all of our hearts, and we invoke a prominent station in the path of national achievements, and a basic building block from the daughters of our union. For 49 years, our armed forces formed an impenetrable fortress, a high performance and a watchful eye on the security of the homeland and everyone who lives on its land.

On the anniversary of the unification of our armed forces, I give you a greeting of appreciation and pride, and more than one individual, in recognition of your great role in the success and development of our military institutions .. You have become a model of loyalty and sacrifice, and you inspired all members of this tall country that sincerity in the tasks, honesty in work, paves the way towards excellence and success, and achieving pioneering achievements.

My sons and daughters, officers, non -commissioned officers and brave soldiers.
