The head of religious affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Al -Sudais, with the great efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Ministry of Interior, in the anti -drug.
He stressed that the Kingdom is a global model in addressing this scourge that threatens societies, based on its keenness to protect its sons and daughters, who are the basis of its renaissance and progress.
This came during his reception of the Director of Narcotics Control in the Makkah Al -Mukarramah region, Brigadier General Mohammed bin Saeed Al -Qahtani, at his office in the presidency, as he valued the heroic role played by drug control men, in confronting destruction and devastation merchants who tamper with human health and community safety. Drugs and the necessity of combating them, noting that what the state in this field reflects a firm awareness of the importance of protecting society from these deadly toxins.
He expressed his appreciation for the qualitative efforts made by the Anti -Narcotics Office in Makkah Al -Mukarramah region, asking God to protect young men and women from this scourge, and to bless the efforts of the security men, and to perpetuate the blessing of security and stability.

Enhancing warning values

Brigadier Al -Qahtani presented a presentation of the office’s most prominent efforts to confront drugs and prosecute promoters, appreciating the support of the Presidency of Religious Affairs in religious awareness of the seriousness of this scourge, and the promotion of warning values ​​in society.
At the end of the meeting, Al -Sudais presented a memorial shield to Brigadier Al -Qahtani, in appreciation of their efforts in protecting society, wishing them more success in performing their security and patriotic mission.
