The name of the Syrian President #Ahmed_ Al -Shara, the lists of the most interactive topics on social media platforms, “Facebook”, “X” and “Instagram”, during the past hours, after the spread of a video of him showing his skills by playing basketball, accompanied by his foreign minister, Asaad Al -Shaibani.

Al -Shaibani, in his official account on the “Instagram” platform, published the video in which the Sharia appeared while they were hitting a number of successful kicks towards the basket while they wore an official visit and ties.

Al -Shaibani commented on the video: “On the sidelines of the battle to build our homeland.”

The clip has spread widely on social media platforms, and on many Arab media, achieving thousands of views and comments.

The video sparked wide reactions, which ranged between praise simply and its sporting skills, and the political analyzes that saw in the scene an attempt to refine the image of “the young leader close to the people.”

For their part, some followers asked about the political indications of his appearance in this way in light of the challenges the country is going through.

On the other hand, some followers had a reservation on the timing in which the video was published, as they considered that the scene might be an attempt to export a different image of the living reality experienced by the Syrian people.

It should be noted that the emergence of Sharia with a scene like this is not the first of its kind. The Syrian president had previously sparked a widespread interaction after the spread of a picture of him appearing as a horse, through which he won the admiration of many of the followers who described him as the “knight”.
