المملكة: An increase of 400 thousand seats .. “Saar” is preparing for the Hajj season with 4,768 trips

Saudi Iron Airlines, “Sar”, announced its operational plan for the Hajj season in 1446 AH, which includes the provision of about two million seats to transport the guests of Rahman through the Al -Haramain Express train, recording an increase of (400) thousand seats over the Hajj 1445 AH season to achieve an increase of (25%).
This increase is a confirmation of the readiness of “Sar” and its integrated willingness to serve the guests of Rahman in accordance with the highest safety, efficiency and quality standards, while the Hajj season for this year is witnessing (4,768) trips, during the period from 1 Dhul Qi’dah to 20 Dhu al -Hijjah 1446 AH, through the Al -Haramain High Train that works on a path that extends for (453) kilometers.

It links five main stations that include Makkah Al -Mukarramah, Al -Madinah Al -Munawwarah, the main Jeddah station (Sulaymaniyah), King Abdullah Economic City Station, and the King Abdulaziz Airport station, which facilitates the transportation of pilgrims between the two holy cities with ease and reassurance.

Al -Haramain High Train

The Al -Haramain High Train is a major possible for the transfers of the guests of Rahman within the modern transportation system in the Kingdom, in light of being the fastest means of transportation between Makkah Al -Mukarramah and Madinah, where it travels the distance between the two cities in about two hours only. In light of the complementary efforts to improve the pilgrim experience, this year’s plan is witnessing the expansion of the implementation of the “Hajj Without Bag” initiative, which is implemented for the second year in a row in cooperation between Saudi Iron Airlines “Sar” and a number of relevant authorities.

The initiative serves tens of thousands of pilgrims this year to move from their country to Makkah without carrying any personal luggage, and the bags are delivered from departure airports and shipped directly to the hotels designated for their residence in Mecca, while the pilgrim is transferred through the Al -Haramain Express Train Network to Makkah Al -Mukarramah without trouble or delay.

The quality of transportation for pilgrims

The Al -Haramain Express Train is one of the fourth fastest passenger trains in the world, with an operational speed of (300) kilometers per hour, and includes a fleet of (35) trains, with a capacity of (417) seats per train, and is characterized by its free carbon emissions, which makes it an environmentally friendly option, as well as its contribution to reducing pressure on the road network, and enhancing the quality of transportation for pilgrims.
The “Sar” operational plan comes as an extension of the role it plays within the comprehensive national efforts in serving the guests of Rahman, by harnessing its expertise and capabilities to provide effective and safe transport services that contribute to facilitating their transportation between the two holy cities, to confirm its commitment to integrated work with various national systems, based on its role as a national possible that contributes to the ease and speed of the transfer of the guests of Rahman, in the context of their support The Kingdom’s 2030 vision, aimed at enhancing the quality of services provided to pilgrims and facilitating their faith journey efficiently and sustaining.
