Airport exhibition 2025 concludes its activities

Dubai, May 8 / WAM / The activities of the 24th session of the “Airports Exhibition 2025” concluded today, at the Dubai World Trade Center, amid a wide regional and international presence, and the participation of more than 6,000 specialists from 30 countries, 140 exhibitors, and 150 buyers representing more than 70 institutions.

For three days, the exhibition was a major platform, to highlight the most prominent future trends in the aviation industry, calling for the adoption of modern technologies and the enhancement of investment in smart and sustainable airports projects, which contributes to meeting the increasing demand expected to reach 1.1 billion passengers in the Middle East by 2040.

Mai Ismail, director of the exhibition, said: “This year’s edition witnessed a great success in the volume of participation and the quality of partnerships, and we started preparing early for the 2026 session, which will be held from 12 to 14 May at the Dubai World Trade Center.”

The exhibition witnessed the signing of a number of cooperation agreements between local and international companies, the most prominent of which was a contract granted by the Dubai Foundation for Engineering Projects to Smits Detection to supply advanced security services for passenger buildings at Dubai airports.

The “Business Connect” program also hosted more than 3,500 business meetings, which included offers from European companies specializing in smart lighting, automation, and environmentally friendly electrical equipment, in addition to the Dubai Police offer for an advanced security model that reduced response time by a third.

The events, led by the “Global Airports Leaders Forum” and “Women’s Conference in Aviation”, strengthened Dubai’s position as a center for formulating future aviation policies and strategies, as it dealt with 30 vital topics session such as carbon removal, cybersecurity, and the experience of smart passengers.

The exhibition, through prominent posts from companies such as Traatos, Eternity Technologies, Access Covers Australia, and Air Tech Italy, confirmed that the future of aviation will be based on innovation, international partnerships, and smart operation solutions, establishing the role of the UAE as a global axis to develop advanced infrastructure in the sector.
