An American woman, Robin Patrick, threatened to file a lawsuit against Megan Markle, at a value of $ 10 million, after she claimed that she was subjected to dangerous burns, after using a bath salts recipe that appeared in the “With My Love, Megan” program on Netflix.

Patrick, a diabetes patient from Maryland, published pictures showing the effects of burns in her legs, confirming that she is still suffering from painful ulcers similar to “the feeling of combustion from the inside”, after using the recipe last March.

She explained in a legal letter that she sent to Markle, Vinclix and the production company “Archwell”, that she is calling for compensation of 75 thousand dollars to cover the expenses of treatment, in addition to 10 million dollars on psychological and physical damage, accusing those in charge of the program of “recklessly reckless with the safety of viewers.”

Megan’s controversial recipe had already sparked fears of health experts, expressed to the media about their concern that the use of Epsom salts without accurate identification of the quantity may cause irritation of the skin or serious burns, especially among the owners of medical conditions such as diabetes.

On the other hand, the Duchess of the Duchess of Sussex replied that the lawsuit was “baseless”, and they stressed that the patient should be in advance of the risks of using bathing salts in her health, stressing that “the program based on the program cannot be prosecuted on charges of negligence.”
