Dubai launches the “Joint Digital Channels Development” initiative with 7 unified and specialized platforms

The Dubai Government launched the “Joint Digital Channels Development” initiative to be the title of a new era, and a qualitative shift in the march of digital transformation in order to facilitate business and facilitate people’s lives in obtaining various services, in cooperation with government agencies in Dubai, where the initiative was announced in the presence of the Secretary -General of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, Abdullah Mohammed Al -Basti, and the Director of Dubai Digital, Hamad Obaid Al -Mansouri.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, approved the joint digital channels initiative, in February 2025, with the aim of providing the services of the emirate through seven unified and specialized platforms, including the Dubai now platform for individuals, the “Invest in Dubai” business, and the “Zoroua Dubai” platform, in addition to four dedicated channels, covering The fields of transportation, justice, construction and trade in the Emirate of Dubai.
Dubai Digital leads this initiative based on its responsibility to oversee joint digital channels, in line with its strategy aimed at digitizing life in Dubai, and enhancing its position one of the three best global cities in the field of digital services centered on man, and the initiative also serves the achievement of a 360 service policy, by converting service channels to 100%joint channels.
Abdullah Mohammed Al -Basti affirmed that “the government work system, based on the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God bless him, and the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, puts the customer in the axis of the comprehensive and continuous development process, by designing proactive service experiences that keep pace with his future needs It meets its aspirations, in order to establish Dubai’s position at the forefront of the leading cities in government services.
He added: «The initiative (joint digital channels), which was adopted by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, at the beginning of this year, reflects the commitment of the Dubai government to provide a unified and integrated digital experience through specialized channels available around the clock, in order to enhance Dubai’s position as a global center for technology and innovation in serving people, and attracting quality investments.
For his part, Matar Al -Tayer, the general manager and head of the Board of the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai, affirmed that “digital channels are the first option for customers to obtain the various services provided by government institutions, and the completion of their transactions, and from this standpoint highlights the great importance of developing joint digital channels and achieving integration between government agencies and departments”, indicating that the customer sees the government as one interconnected entity that can meet its needs Complete through a platform or a few platforms, without the need to move between a large number of channels and windows.
He said: “The (joint mobility channel), the unified channel for mobility services in the city, provides easy access to all transportation services, whether through public transportation or by using vehicles.” He pointed out that the transportation services are the main element in government services, where the number of users of mass transportation and joint transport and taxis reached 747 million users in 2024, while the number of vehicles registered in Dubai is estimated at 2.5 million vehicles, and exceeds the number of cards We take a barrier of 39 million cards, stressing that the new platform contributes to enhancing the experience of the customer by improving access to the services of government agencies and the private sector within one easy -to -use interface that supports integration and emerging technologies.
