المملكة: Al-Jamoum launches the sixth date market to market the production of 300,000 palm trees
Launching an office Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in Jamoum Governorate The sixth seasonal date market in Rahat Center, to support farmers and market the production of about 300,000 palm trees, in a way that enhances economic returns and achieves development goals.
The Deputy Governor of Al-JamoumZayed Al-Dhubiani Market activities, and the inauguration took place in the presence of the Assistant Director General for Technical Affairs at the Ministry’s branch in the Makkah region, Engineer Hassan Al-Muaydi.
Activating the agricultural movement
The market aims to raise the financial returns for producers and stimulate the agricultural movement in the Rahat Center, which is considered one of the most prominent agricultural centers in the governorate. The center’s farms host hundreds of thousands of palm trees that produce various types, most notably mutlaban and frankincense. Diabetes, ajwa, and rotana.
The Director General of the branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in the Makkah region, Engineer Walid Al-Daghis, confirmed that organizing seasonal markets comes within ongoing efforts to support farmers, explaining that enhancing the marketing of local products contributes to developing the sector and raising marketing efficiency, to achieve sustainable agricultural development and the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.
