A star entered the field of art by chance .. Who is she?

Tunisian artist Reem Bin Masoud is one of the striking names in the Arab artistic scene, as she succeeded in forming a distinguished artistic identity thanks to her accurate choices and her keenness to provide quality and value works. And between the world of media and fine arts, Reem found a sudden path that led her to acting, to start a journey that was not taken into account, but she was loaded with passion and ambition.

In her dialogue with Fuchsia, Reem opened her heart to talk about her beginnings, and how her passion for directing led her to discover the world of acting, through her various experiences and standards in choosing her roles, up to her ambitions in writing the script and directing.

“The acting was not one of my dreams at the beginning. Since my childhood, my interest was on the directing, and I was looking to study the cinema. But after obtaining the baccalaureate degree in 2000, there was no government university studying this specialization, and the only option was available in private universities, which prompted me to choose the study of fine arts.”

Her practical launch was from the field of media, where she went through the experience of presenting programs and journalistic work, before she took the position of Casting in one of the channels. There, the turning point came, when I participated with the late director Salah Al -Din Al -Said in choosing the actors for the series “My dear Nassiba”, to suggest that one of the roles herself, in what was her first acting start.
