9000 participants in the “Dubai Financial Technology Summit” from 120 countries

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Governor of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and President of the Dubai International Financial Center, the work of the third edition of the Dubai Financial Technology Summit was launched yesterday, in the presence of more than 9,000 participants from the leaders of the financial sector, financial technology pioneers, investors, policy makers and innovators from more than 120 countries, and more than 1000 investors and more than 300 speakers and 200 models.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, President of Dubai Airports, Supreme Chairman of the Emirates Airlines and the group, witnessed the opening of the “Dubai Financial Technology Summit”, and His Highness the exhibition accompanying the summit, where he seen the strategic initiatives led by Dubai and the Dubai International Financial Center, which aims to consolidate the emirate’s position as a leading global financial center.
The summit includes wings for startups and countries in the exhibition square, to display the latest innovative solutions that contribute to strengthening the sector’s growth.
The Summit also includes the “World Financial Technology Cup” for promising startups in this field, which represents a global platform to display their solutions to investors, investment capital, strategic partners, and an opportunity for investors to discover their innovative ideas.
The Dubai Financial Technology Summit, organized by the Dubai International Financial Center as a global platform for the global financial technology community, is in line with the strategic goal of the Dubai Economic Agency (D33) and the Dubai World Financial Center, aiming to enhance the emirate’s position to become among the first four financial centers globally by 2033.
The Governor of the Dubai International Financial Center, Issa Kazem, announced during his opening speech the launch of the Dubai Week Week, to be held in 2026, explaining that the Dubai World Financial Center leads this initiative, which includes activities such as the Dubai Financial Technology Summit, the Future Sustainability Forum, the “Simlil Middle East”, the Special Capital Forum, the “Hodl” summit, and the meeting of the association The annual general public for the Dubai District Fund for the Future.
He said: «The event that lasts a week will be held under the slogan (Leadership of the Financial Scene in the Future: Innovation, Sustainability and Global Communication), and it is scheduled to attract more than 40 thousand from the brightest affected minds to form the features of the future of the financial world. Dubai’s position is a leading financial center in the region.
For his part, the CEO of the Dubai International Financial Center, Aref Amiri, said that “our goal is to be the global capital for financial innovation is clear, as we continue to attract startups, companies in the growth phase, and billionaire companies (UNCRAN) at unprecedented rates, thanks to what we have provided to them from a supportive environment and exceptional capabilities that allow them to achieve expansion and growth.”
