"Etihad Airways" Transfer 6.7 million passengers in 4 months
Abu Dhabi, May 13 / WAM / Etihad Airways announced positive preliminary results for the movement of passengers for the month of April 2025 and the first four months of this year, as the company transferred 6.7 million passengers since the beginning of the year, an increase of 17.5% compared to the same period in 2024, equivalent to additional million passengers.
During the month of April alone, Etihad Airways transferred 1.7 million passengers, recording 21% growth compared to the same month last year, and the company recorded an average high load factor of 89% in April, compared to 84% in April 2024, while continuing to increase its capacity and the size of its operating fleet.
April Anton and Federation CEO of Airways described April to the Etihad Airways, with the number of passengers growing by 21% compared to the same period last year, and with the transfer of about 7 million guests during the first months alone, stressing that Etihad Airways is on the correct path to transfer greater than 21 million guests in 2025.
He stressed that Etihad Airways, with the approaching summer season, continues to focus on the growth strategy while providing the most beautiful travel experiences that the union’s guests used to.
