The departments of a number of public schools announced the application of a new mechanism for receiving satisfactory leave, within the framework of organizing administrative procedures related to following up the attendance of students and reducing unjustified absence cases, in line with the approved educational systems, and enhances students ’discipline and regularity during the school day.

The departments confirmed in conversations for parents and students, which were seen by “Emirates Today”, that satisfactory leave is received during the morning period until only two o’clock in the afternoon, explaining that any medical reports provided after this time will not be approved, and the student will be registered absent without an excuse for the full school day.

Schools stressed that the holidays of the previous days will not be accepted under any circumstance, as the absence registration system is closed daily automatically, and no amendments are made retroactively, and this procedure aims to ensure the credibility of the daily data related to attendance and absence, and enhance the culture of commitment between students and their parents.

The departments called on parents to ensure that medical excuses are made on time and avoid delay, to ensure that the absence is calculated with an official excuse. She thanked the permanent cooperation of the parents, praising their continuous efforts in supporting the educational process and achieving a disciplined and responsible school environment.
