About 40 years after her capture, rare photos were recently revealed by Princess Diana with the legend of pop David Boy, documenting exceptional moments that brought together a royal symbol and one of the most prominent international music stars.
The photos taken by photographer Dennis Organ during a party for the Wembley Stadium in 1987, showed Diana, when she was twenty -five years old, smiling alongside the British singer.
Diana attended the concert, accompanied by army officer James Hewitt, with which she had a secret love affair between 1986 and 1991.
Despite the spread of rumors about their relationship at the time, no pictures were taken documenting their presence together.
Hoyette, who was keen to stay away from the cameras’ lenses, did not appear in the pictures, while Diana appeared in that evening wearing leather pants that sparked controversy inside the royal palace, as it was not appropriate for a future queen.
Diana later explained that she wanted to appear with a modern look that suits her age, but she received a slight reprimand because of her choice of clothes.
