Sharjah Real Estate and the Emirates declares electronic mortgage services

Sharjah, May 14 / WAM / The Real Estate Registration Department in Sharjah today signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Emirates, with the aim of activating the direct electronic link between the two sides, as part of the department’s strategy to digitize its services, and raise the efficiency of registration and real estate financing procedures in a way that keeps pace with the directions of the Sharjah government in digital transformation and providing smart and interconnected services.
The memo was signed by His Excellency Abdel Aziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director General of the Real Estate Registration Department in Sharjah, and His Excellency Farid Al Mulla, CEO of the Emirates Islamic, in the presence of a number of directors of departments and officials from both sides.
The memo represents an advanced step on the way to simplify the procedures and facilitate real estate transactions related to banking services, in order to provide mortgage services (mortgage) and carry out all the required procedures, which include, but not limited to registering, amending, abolishing and dismantling mortgage contracts.
The memorandum allows the Islamic Emirates to use the electronic system of the department, enabling it to conduct inquiries, verification and matching transactions electronically according to the roles and powers granted to it, and according to the applicable legislative controls, as the electronic linking mechanism will be adopted using the latest encryption protocols and the highest standards of data protection, in a manner that guarantees the confidentiality and safety of mutual information without the need for an actual presence, which contributes to reducing time And effort on dealers, enhances the accuracy and quality of operations.
His Excellency Abdel Aziz Almesce said: This partnership comes within the framework of our permanent endeavors to develop the real estate business environment in the emirate, and to achieve a high level of digital integration between government agencies and financial institutions, in order to support the quality of life and enhance the ease of doing business in Sharjah. Also, enabling banks to directly access the electronic system of the department with regard to mortgage and digital services, reflects our commitment to providing transparency, accuracy, and speedy services.
