Singapore, May 16/ WAM/ The Sharjah team will end its training in Singapore, in preparation for its counterpart, Lyon City Singapore, tomorrow, Sunday, in the AFC Champions League final at Bishan Stadium.
The Sharjah Mission arrived in Singapore last Tuesday, to prepare early to meet and adapt to the weather, as the team conducts its daily training in a positive atmosphere.
The Asian Football Confederation confirmed that the Sharjah team showed an exceptional mental solid until it reached the final match of the continental championship that started with its new system for the first time.
Al -Ittihad said on its official website today, that Sharjah has reached the final match thanks to the distinguished elite of its players, and they are the most important reasons for the team’s nomination to win in the final match, especially the brilliant attack by Luznho and Kayo Lucas, as they scored 10 goals this season, while Moroccan Adel Tabait is a profitable paper with his wide European experience.
He added that Sharjah showed an exceptional mental stiffness, as it decided to confront the round of 16 and a quarter of the final on penalties, before the amazing return in the semi -finals.
He pointed out that the match will be the last for the Romanian coach, Cosmin Olaario, with the team, after announcing that he would take the leadership of the UAE national team, as it will be an ideal farewell to the cup.
The Asian Federation confirmed that the Lyon City team also has many ingredients that qualify it to resolve the final match, which is a group of its players, most notably the star Shawwal Anwar, who is second in the list of scorers, and leads an attack characterized by speed and swooping, which made it one of the most scoring teams in the championship “25 goals in 12 games, with registration in 11 of them”.
He stated that, moreover, the final will be held at the Bishan Stadium in Singapore, which gives the team a great public advantage, as the crowning of its land will be an ideal end for his career in the tournament.
