A 4.9 Richter earthquake hit off the coast of New Zealand

A 4.9 -magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale struck, on Friday, south of the “Kermadic” islands, off the coast of New Zealand. The American Geological Survey said in a report that the earthquake occurred in the southwest of the “Kermadik” islands, and at a depth of 64.2 km.
There was no reports of human or material losses due to the earthquake.
