Livly threatened, according to what the site confirmed, to leak these messages if Swift did not comply with its demands. Livley’s lawyer, Michael Gottlieb, took these demands to the singer’s legal team, in an attempt to push her to take a supportive public position.

On the other hand, the defense team for Justin Balouni responded with an official message to the judge, in which he denied what he described as “false allegations” by Livly, confirming that Swift’s summons was aimed at revealing possible attempts to influence witnesses or manipulation of evidence, and that what Livley had done may rise to extortion and legal intimidation.
