India asks the International Monetary Fund to review a loan granted to Pakistan

On Friday, Indian Defense Minister Rajinat Singh called on the International Monetary Fund to reconsider a loan granted to Pakistan, while Islamabad described this call as “desperate”.
“I think a large part of the billion dollars granted by the International Monetary Fund will be used to finance the terrorist infrastructure,” Singh said during his inspection of an air base in Bahouj in western India.

Pakistan, who received funds from the International Monetary Fund as part of the existing aid program review, said this invitation “reflects the frustration and despair of India.”
