Awards jury "Make in the Emirates" You choose the winners of the award categories

Abu Dhabi, May 16 / WAM / The jury of the third session of the “Made in the Emirates” awards met to determine the names of the winners of the awards of individuals and companies operating in the industrial sector, culminating in its excellence and support for the state’s plans to strengthen this sector in the UAE.

The winners will be honored on the opening day for the fourth session of the “Maken in the Emirates” platform, which will be held from 19 to 22 May 2025 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center.

The jury includes government officials and prominent experts from the industrial and academic sectors, most notably His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al -Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs. The jury also includes His Excellency Omar Al Suwaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, His Excellency Dr. Farah Al -Zarouni, Assistant Undersecretary for the Standardization Affairs Sector in the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, Hamad Al -Murr, the Director Edge, Sichista Asif, CEO of the Burjahth Group, Norinosato, President and CEO of Yokogawa Middle East and Africa, Professor Steve Liu, Deputy Assistant Director for Research at Mohammed bin Zayed University of AI, and His Excellency Ahmed Rahma Al Masoud, member “Malaglai.”

During the committee meeting, the winners of the award categories identified after assessing all the candidacy posts by individuals and companies in the industrial sector, to compete for nine categories of prizes distributed over five strategic axes that include excellence in national content, future factory, industrial potentials and strategic partners, leadership and talents, and Emirati heritage crafts “for individuals and companies”.

The ministry also cooperates with the University of Cambridge as a technical evaluation partner in a manner that guarantees an accurate evaluation and selection process for the winners.

His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al -Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, a member of the jury, said, “The UAE focuses under the guidance of the rational leadership on the role of youth in sustainable economic development, as they are the main pillar in the industrial and technological sectors, and we seek through these awards to celebrate their distinguished achievements, and support Emirati pioneers who contribute to industrial progress.”

For his part, Omar Al -Suwaidi said that the ‘Made in the Emirates’ Awards represents a reflection of the country’s vision aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of the industrial sector of the state at the local and international levels, and contributing to building an economy based on the foresight of the future and innovation, as the award jury chose the most distinguished achievements achieved by industrial companies and sector leaders, in order to honor them during the fourth session of ‘Made in the Emirates’.

Awards “Make in the Emirates” are a leading national initiative that is concerned with honoring companies, innovators and individuals who make distinguished contributions in advancing the industrial transformation in the country, and organized by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology with the aim of shedding light on the exceptional successes achieved by national industries in the areas of resettlement, technological leadership, industrial excellence and youth empowerment, in order to support the goals of economic diversification and sustainability And the global competitiveness of the UAE.
