Ajman government participates in "Make in the Emirates" To enhance investment opportunities

Ajman, May 17 / WAM / The Ajman government participates in the activities of the fourth session of the exhibition “Maken in the Emirates”, scheduled for May 19 to 22 this May at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center “ADNEC”, which attracts the most prominent experts, manufacturers, investors, innovators and pioneers in various industries locally and abroad.

The Ajman government participates in the exhibition with three government agencies (Ajman Chamber, Ajman Free Zone, Department of Economic Development), which reviews the emirate’s efforts in supporting national industries, promoting the investment opportunities available in the emirate, in addition to enhancing the competitiveness of the business environment in the UAE.

The Ajman government platform witnesses during the exhibition days meetings and meetings with investors and manufacturers, to review investment opportunities and facilities provided, in addition to signing a cooperation agreement with the Emirates Development Bank with the aim of setting advantages and facilities for local factories.

The Ajman government sheds light on the “exporters” platform, which was developed as an integrated tool to provide exporters’ data, analyze the targeted markets, and facilitate access to export opportunities, within the framework of the strategic trend towards economic diversity and the promotion of national exports.

The participation of the free zone of Ajman, which is affiliated with the Ajman Free Zones Authority, comes in “Made in the Emirates”, as part of its continuous commitment to supporting the national industry and enhancing the competitiveness of the investment environment in the UAE.

The region sponsors the participation of major industrial companies within its system, representing vital sectors, such as pharmaceutical, plastic, engineering, packaging, metal, and clothing, which reflects the diversity of the investment environment and its flexibility inside the region, and its role is highlighted as an active motor in the industrial growth march in Ajman in particular and the Emirates in general.

The free Ajman region called on investors, decision makers, and those interested in industrial affairs locally and internationally, to visit its wing in the exhibition, and see the promising opportunities that it provides in various sectors.

In this context, His Excellency Ismail Al -Naqi, Director General of the Free Zones Authority in Ajman, affirmed that the participation of the Ajman Free Zone in “Asemat in the Emirates” embodies the authority’s vision in enabling its industrial partners and enhancing their contribution to the national economy.

Al -Naqbi said that the presence of our industrial companies in this event is a testimony at the level of industrial development reached by the Ajman Free Zone, and the growing confidence they enjoy from investors locally and internationally.

The Director General of the Ajman Free Zones Authority stressed the continuation of the development of an integrated business system that enhances sustainable industrial investment, and is based on an advanced infrastructure, flexible facilities, and innovative incentives, keeping pace with the targets of the industrial strategy of the UAE, and contribute to enhancing the sustainability and competitiveness of the industrial sector.

The Ajman Chamber participates in “Made in the Emirates” within the wing of the Ajman government under the slogan “accelerating advanced industries”, and falls within the framework of the Chamber’s keenness to support national trends in developing the industrial sector, promoting industrial investment opportunities in the emirate, in addition to enabling the Chamber members of the industrial sector facilities to introduce their products, enhance their presence in local and foreign markets, and open new horizons for cooperation and growth.

His Excellency Salem Al -Suwaidi, Director General of Ajman Chamber, stressed that the industrial sector in Ajman is characterized by the diversity of its accelerated activities and growth supported by an integrated infrastructure and service, which enhances the attractiveness of industrial investments in the emirate, and contributes to its local product compared to other sectors.

Al -Suwaidi pointed to the participation of 20 factories from the Emirate of Ajman in “Asees in the Emirates”, represented by the food and beverage sectors, advanced industries, clothes, machines and equipment, ship and boats industry, plastic and chemical industry, health care products and others.

The Director General of the Ajman Chamber explained that the industrial sector in the emirate is witnessing increasing growth, as in the first quarter of this year 442 industrial memberships, of which 53 new memberships and 389 renewable memberships, reflect the vitality of the sector and its investment attractiveness.

He added that the emirate’s efforts are consistent with the vision of the UAE government in promoting and expanding the base of the national industry, increasing its contribution to the national economy, and working to reach the Emirati product to foreign markets, by supporting the competitiveness of local industries and encouraging industrial facilities to adopt quality and innovation standards and the latest practices and technologies based on technology and artificial intelligence, and preparing a flexible and stimulating industrial environment for investment, which contributes to the consolidation of the UAE’s position As a sustainable regional and global industrial center.

The Department of Economic Development in Ajman aims, through its participation in the “Making in the Emirates” exhibition, to highlight the emirate’s efforts to support national industries and enhance the investment environment.

The department reviews the “Exporters Platform” project, which is one of the leading initiatives in the emirate to support economic installations and motivate them to expand foreign markets.

The department emphasized that its participation in the exhibition is a strategic station to review the initial initiatives of the department, foremost of which is the “platform for exporters”, which reflects its commitment to supporting entrepreneurs and industrial facilities in Ajman to storm global markets, within a clear vision aimed at developing exports and stimulating industrial innovation, in line with the state’s directions in building a diverse and sustainable knowledge economy.

The “exporters” platform is a recent model in enabling the facilities, through digital tools that enhance the competitiveness of the emirate, and the participation of the department in the exhibition constitutes a valuable opportunity to communicate with investors, partners and decision makers.
