Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khaled launches an initiative to enhance analytical reading and deep understanding of students
Al Ain, May 18/ WAM/ Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khaled Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Cultural and Educational Institutions, launched a qualitative initiative aimed at supporting analytical reading skills and deep understanding of students, within the framework of the programs of the Mohammed bin Khaled Al Nahyan Association for Future Generations.
This initiative seeks to enhance students’ ability to analyze texts deeply and absorb information efficiently in line with the standards of international PISA tests, and with the vision of good leadership to consolidate the UAE’s position as a global center for artificial intelligence.
In line with the goals of the “General Society 2025”, the association included within its programs concerned with enhancing the skills of the Arabic language and reading, a series of specialized workshops, most notably: the “Al -Warraqin” program, the Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Al -Qurai program, and the initiative “in Arabic, communicate”. These efforts aim to ensure the sustainability of initiatives within future strategic plans.
In this context, the association organized a number of qualitative workshops, including: “Artificial Intelligence and Interactive Reading” workshop at the Ma’ali School, and the “Technology and Reading and Reading Workshop – a journey towards deep understanding” at Ain Al -Fayyah School for Partnerships.
These workshops focused on developing critical thinking skills, enabling students to interact smart with digital content, and enhance their capabilities to analyze texts accurately and deeply.
One of the workshops also witnessed an analysis of a text from the article “Digital Awareness and Community Security” by Sheikh Shamma Bint Muhammad, which discusses the importance of digital awareness in facing the challenges of electronic space, such as rumors and digital extortion, and highlights the role of digital education in enhancing the security and stability of society in light of the rapid transformations in the field of artificial intelligence.
The initiative received a wide acclaim from the participating schools ’departments, which expressed her appreciation for the efforts of Sheikha Dr. Shamma in consolidating cultural and intellectual awareness, and promoting a culture of digital protection, stressing the importance of these initiatives in developing students’ skills in critical reading and deep analysis, in a way that enables them to interact with a renewed digital environment, and to take deliberate decisions based on a comprehensive understanding and firm knowledge.
