Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed is witnessing part of the activities of the 4th session of the Forum "Make in the Emirates"
Abu Dhabi, May 19/ WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, witnessed part of the activities of the fourth session of the “Made in the Emirates” forum, which was launched today at the Denik Abu Dhabi Center and continues until May 22nd by organizing from the ADNEC Group and hosting the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and the Abu Dhabi Investment Office and Abu Dhabi National Oil Company ADNOC.
His Highness made an inspection tour of the exhibition accompanying the forum, and reviewed the wings of a number of participating international, national and local bodies, companies, which offer innovative solutions that depend on advanced technology to advance the development of industrial sectors in vital fields and contribute to converting the UAE into a regionally and globally leading destination to embrace the most prominent future industries.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan affirmed the UAE’s keenness to develop the industrial sector as a basic pillar in achieving sustainable development, and a major support for diversifying the national economy.
His Highness pointed out the importance of enhancing the contribution of national industries to the gross domestic product, in line with the targets of the national industry and advanced technology “project 300 billion”, and the Abu Dhabi industrial strategy, which aims to enhance the competitiveness of biomedics and build an innovative knowledge economy capable of keeping pace with the future.
In its fourth edition, the “Made in the Emirates” forum continues to establish the UAE’s position as a leading center for industrial excellence and innovation by highlighting the investment opportunities provided by the competitive environment for the local industrial sector and incentives granted by the national economy system to build strategic cooperation partnerships to encourage investment in various vital national priority sectors.
During the visit, His Highness was accompanied by His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al -Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, His Excellency Faisal Abdulaziz Al -Bannai, Advisor to the President of the State for Advanced Strategic and Technology Research Affairs, His Excellency Maryam Bint Muhammad Al Muhairi, Head of the International Affairs Office at the Presidential Court, His Excellency Ahmed Jassim Al Zaabi, Head of the Department of Economic Development – Abu Dhabi and His Excellency Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary General of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, His Excellency Hamid Matar Al -Dhaheri, Managing Director and CEO of ADNEC Group and Sayed Bosra Shuaib, CEO and Managing Director of the International Holding Company.
