Dubai Industrial City has recorded strong growth indicators since 2024

Saud Abu Al -Shawarb, Executive Deputy President of the Tikom Group – Industrial Sector, stressed that the positive indicators achieved by the industrial city of Dubai during the first months of this year 2025 herald an exceptional general achievement at the level of growth and attracting more investors in the industrial sector.
He stated in his speech to Emirates News Agency “WAM” on the sidelines of “Make in the Emirates”, that Dubai Industrial City has recorded strong growth indicators since the beginning of 2024, where the number of companies operating increased by more than 10%, exceeding the 1,100 companies by the end of the year, and the number of factories that entered into production increased by more than 16% to exceed 350 factories, which reflects the emirate’s attractiveness as a major destination for industrial investments, and contributes to an increase Industrial domestic product.
With regard to the food and beverage sector, he pointed out that the city announced the beginning of the year that it has attracted during the year 2024 investments exceeding 350 million dirhams, which reflects its position as a vital center for this strategic sector, which is witnessing an increasingly domestic and regional demand.
On the directions of the new investments, he explained that the city is witnessing the pumping of various investments that include the development of infrastructure, the construction of electrical stations, the expansion of workers’ housing facilities, and the offering of new industrial lands, indicating that qualitative initiatives will be announced in this field soon.
He emphasized the commitment of Dubai Industrial City to support the efforts of the UAE to settle the industry, by providing an integrated and sustainable business environment that contributes to raising the contribution of the industrial sector to the gross domestic product.
And on the participation of Dubai Industrial City in the current session of “Made in the Emirates”, he stressed that it reflects its continuous keenness to keep pace with industrial developments and strengthen partnerships within a national platform that has become increasingly popular year after year.
He said: Participation in this year is the fourth in a row, and it comes within the wing of the Emirate of Dubai, and it constitutes a strategic opportunity to exchange experiences and learn about the latest initiatives and technologies that support the growth of the national industrial sector.
