المملكة: “Rabeena Daem” .. a new awareness campaign for the King Abdulaziz Reserve Development Authority

The King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority launched a new awareness campaign entitled “Rabeena Daem”.
This is within the framework of its ongoing efforts to enhance environmental awareness among members of local communities, and to consolidate positive behaviors towards the reserve environment and its natural components, which are rich in plant and animal diversity.

Employment concepts of environmental sustainability

The campaign aims to instill environmental sustainability concepts in the behavior of individuals and society, based on a firm conviction that protecting the environment is a shared responsibility, transcending official roles to individuals’ contributions to their daily practices.
This is especially during the hiking and direct interaction with the wild areas, which enhances the environmental awareness of society, and supports the “authority” efforts in protecting the environment and ensuring its sustainability for today and future generations.

The authority pointed out that the name of the campaign, “Rabiena Daim”, symbolizes that environmental sustainability is not a transient season, but a permanent approach that we all make.

Activating the fever system

She stated that the conscious individual practices – an abstinence from over grazing, perfume, throwing waste, run over plants, and setting fire to the ground – are the cornerstone of the reserve spring survival live and renewed.
The campaign comes as an extension of the concrete environmental impact that the authority has caused since the start of its work, as the activation of the fever system contributed to the restoration of vegetation to the areas previously damaged, and the return of innate organisms to its natural citizen after its numbers fell due to negative human practices.
