We will not withdraw our forces from our areas

Ukrainian President Folodimir Zellinski on Monday ruled out the withdrawal of his forces from parts in eastern Ukraine, which was controlled by Kiev.
Zelinski rejected conditions that Russia has set to end its invasion for more than three years.

In response to a question about Russian conditions, Zelinski said that Ukraine is completely abandoning the regions of Donetsk, Lugansk, Jeruson and Zaburiia, which Russia says it has included but does not control it completely.

On Sunday, Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that he wanted to eliminate the causes of the conflict in Ukraine and “guarantee” Russia’s security two days after direct talks between Kiev and Moscow is the first since the spring of 2022.

Peace is sustainable

Putin stressed during an interview with public television, that Moscow’s goal is to “eliminate the reasons that brought this crisis and provide the necessary conditions for sustainable peace and ensure the security of the Russian state.”
The talks that took place in Istanbul during the current week have not led to a truce in the war in Ukraine, which has been continuing since February 2022.
