His Highness revealed the new institutional identity, the slogan of the group inspired by the deer tree, the symbol of strength, flexibility and sustainability in the Emirati environment.
The ceremony witnessed the announcement of the conclusion of a strategic agreement between the “Surger” group and the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) at the value of two billion dirhams, stipulating the provision of “ADNOC” with a wide range of equipment and machinery over a period of five years, within the framework of a partnership aimed at supporting its vital projects in the energy sector.
The “Surger” group, which was previously known as “Al Dhafra for Technical Services”, is an extension of the history of institutional work that began with the integration of “Al Dhafra Cooperative Society” and “Dalma Cooperative Association”, which was established under an Emiri decree from the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, in 1976 and 1981, respectively, and the group developed to become a partner Trust in providing integrated services that support economic and social growth in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and abroad.
