“Paris Orly” airport resumes its flights after repairing the radar defect

Paris Orly airport in the French capital resumed its natural operations on Monday evening, after a technical defect in the monitoring system that caused widespread disruptions, which led to the cancellation of some flights.
The French Ministry of Transport and the Civil Aviation Authority stated that the schedule of flights is expected to return to its normal path by Tuesday.

The authorities have traveled the air movement in “Paris Orly” after the technical holidays on Sunday noon, which led to a significant reduction in the number of flights, resulting in the cancellation of 40% of flights on Sunday, and 15% of flights on Monday.

The General Directorate of Civil Aviation stated that the holidays occurred in radar systems on Sunday noon, which necessitated the imposition of strict restrictions on air navigation and a significant reduction in the number of flights until midnight.
