A 5 -Richter earthquake hit off the coast of New Zealand today

On Tuesday, a 5 -magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale struck the “Kermadic” islands off the coast of New Zealand. The American Geological Survey reported that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 80 km, while no warnings were issued that it was tsunami.
No news has yet been reported about the occurrence of human or material losses as a result of the earthquake.
