"Abu Dhabi for Jiu-Jitsu professionals" Announces the closing of registration for the Luanda Festival

Abu Dhabi, March 24 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Jiu-Jitsu Professionals Association announced the closing of registration yesterday evening to participate in the Abu Dhabi Jiu-Jitsu Association Festival in Luanda, which is held with open participation for various nationalities, and includes categories of children, juniors, youth, amateurs, and masters.
The association confirmed that the event will begin next Sunday, without calculating classification points, allowing players of all levels to gain experience and compete in a sporting atmosphere, within an integrated program for age groups for both genders, starting from the children’s category up to the masters’ category, according to the belt system approved for each stage.
For his part, Tariq Al-Bahri, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Professional Jiu-Jitsu Association, confirmed that the Association continues its efforts to expand the spread of the game globally, by organizing tournaments and festivals on various continents, noting that the Association’s agenda includes more than 250 tournaments and festivals annually.
He pointed out the Association’s keenness to reach the largest possible segment of players around the world, by organizing various tournaments that keep pace with different age groups and levels, and contribute to spreading the game and consolidating its international presence.
He added that Luanda represents one of the important stations on the African continent, through which the Association works to discover promising talents and create champions capable of competing in major competitions, which reflects its vision of developing the sport of jiu-jitsu at the global level.
The festival is expected to witness wide participation, in light of the increasing demand for the association’s tournaments and their role in enhancing the presence of jiu-jitsu globally.
