"Industry " Release "Global exchange program for startups"
Abu Dhabi, May 20/ WAM/ The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology launched the “Global Travel Program for Emerging Companies”, a leading initiative aimed at linking startups in the UAE and around the world to new markets, business incubators, and potential investors.
The program was revealed today during the activities of the fourth session of the “Made in the Emirates” platform, held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center and will continue until May 22.
The program supports the implementation of the targets of the national industry and technology strategy, and aims to strengthen the global emerging companies system, and to encourage international cooperation through bilateral and interactive exchange programs.
The first pilot project will be launched in cooperation with Japan in September 2025 during the Osaka exhibition, in partnership with the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, provided that the program will be transferred to include a new group of countries, which opens new horizons for technology -based startups to expand their global presence.
Next October, the UAE will receive Japanese startups as part of the exchange program, which will be implemented in cooperation with national business incubators and the system partners.
It is expected that startups selected for the program will benefit from the opportunities to enhance their capabilities, and special guidelines, with openness to a vital international customer base, in addition to communicating with international investors and business sector leaders, and it is expected that each session will include between 10 and 12 emerging companies.
By strengthening global presence and establishing long -term partnerships, the global exchange program for startups embodies the UAE’s ambition to become a global center for industrial innovation and a starting platform for the most promising startup in the world.
