"Sharjah Pioneers" Approved financing for two new projects worth 800 thousand dirhams
Sharjah, January 18 / WAM / The Sharjah Foundation for Supporting Entrepreneurial Projects “Ruwad”, which is attached to the Sharjah Economic Development Department, has approved financing two new pioneering projects with a total of 800 thousand dirhams.
His Excellency Hamad Ali Abdullah Al Mahmoud, Department of Economic Development, during the fortieth meeting of the Corporation’s Project Finance Committee, which was held yesterday under his chairmanship, praised the committee’s efforts during 2025, which witnessed the holding of 8 meetings, stressing the importance of continuing to provide all means of support, assistance and financing for small and medium national projects in a way that enhances the process of economic development and contributes to the diversification and competitiveness of activities and services in all sectors in the emirate.
The meeting reviewed the position of the financing ceiling allocated for the year 2025, in addition to reviewing the list of financing approval decisions approved during the past year, which amounted to 21 approvals with a total of 6 million dirhams, including 19 approvals from the direct financing program, with a value of 4.3 million dirhams, and two approvals with the financing system through banks, with a value of 1.7 million dirhams.
The Project Financing Technical Committee reviewed the list of new projects submitted for financing requests and a number of requests to reconsider some projects that had not been approved in previous meetings and took appropriate decisions regarding them.
