المملكة: During the Hajj season .. I know the most important methods of fraud and how to avoid it

As the Hajj season approaches, the ads of fake offices targeting pilgrims increases, as these offices claim to provide Hajj campaigns at attractive prices and luxurious services, in addition to fake promises to issue Hajj visas. But in fact, all these offers are only illusions aimed at exploiting pilgrims’ money.

The need to deal with official channels

Government agencies stress the importance of dealing only with official channels, as the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah confirms that the approved visa to perform the Hajj pilgrimage is the Hajj visa only. And no other type of visa is accepted.
The pilgrimage permit is issued only through the application of “Nazis” or a permit platform, which was launched to provide an integrated religious experience for all pilgrims, whether from inside or outside the Kingdom. The ministry confirms that dealing with any party other than the application of Nask exposes the pilgrim to lose its opportunity to perform the obligatory prayer.

Applying penalties to violators

In this context, the Ministry of Interior confirms the start of the application of regular penalties to everyone who tries to infiltrate the pilgrimage or enter the holy sites without a permit. A fine of up to 20,000 riyals will be imposed, in addition to deporting violators of residents and violators of their country and preventing them from entering the Kingdom for a period of 10 years.
A fine of up to 100,000 riyals will be imposed on everyone who helps or houses visitor visas, whether in hotels, apartments, private housing, shelter houses, or pilgrim housing sites. Multiple fines are multiple of violators.

Set the fraudsters and the swindlers

The Saudi Public Security Forces managed to arrest many people of multiple nationalities, who committed fraud and fraud by publishing fake and misleading pilgrimage advertisements, including promises to provide pilgrims’ housing and transport them inside the holy sites, in addition to issuing visas.
The Kingdom continues to enhance societal awareness by launching awareness campaigns aimed at raising the level of awareness among pilgrims and reducing fraudulent activities.

The competent authorities also receive fraud reports and the violators of the Hajj regulations via:

• Number 330330 for fraudulent operations via text messages.
• No. 911 for violating the Hajj regulations in Makkah Al -Mukarramah, Al -Madinah Al -Munawwarah, Riyadh, East.
• The number 999 for the rest of the Kingdom.
• The number 1966 for complaints and the reports of the guests of Rahman.

All these great efforts aim to ensure the safety of pilgrims and the performance of the rituals safely.
