The UAE air defenses handle 3 ballistic missiles and 8 drones
Abu Dhabi, March 21 / WAM / The UAE air defenses (March 21, 2026) dealt with 3 ballistic missiles and 8 drones coming from Iran.
Since the start of the blatant Iranian attacks, the UAE air defenses have dealt with 341 ballistic missiles, 15 mobile missiles, and 1,748 drones.
These attacks led to the martyrdom of 2 members of the armed forces while performing their national duty, the killing of 6 civilians of Pakistani, Nepalese, Bengali and Palestinian nationality, and the wounding of 160 people with injuries ranging from minor, moderate and severe injuries of Emirati, Egyptian, Sudanese, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bengali, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese, Afghan, Bahraini, Comoros, Turkish, Iraqi, Nepalese, Nigerian, Omani, Jordanian, Palestinian, Ghanaian, Indonesian, Swedish and Tunisian.
The Ministry of Defense affirms that it is fully prepared and ready to deal with any threats and to firmly confront everything that aims to destabilize the security of the state, in a way that ensures the preservation of its sovereignty, security and stability and protects its national interests and capabilities.
