"Abu Dhabi Health"Empowering mothers is a pillar for enhancing family cohesion and community sustainability
ABU DHABI, 21 March / WAM / The Department of Health in Abu Dhabi continues to consolidate its approach to empowering mothers and enhancing their pivotal role in family stability and cohesion, by developing an integrated health system that guarantees them access to care, support and advice services, which contributes to building healthy families and a more sustainable and interconnected society.
His Excellency Mansour Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, said on the occasion of Mother’s Day, which falls on March 21 of each year, that the mother constitutes a fundamental pillar in the stability and well-being of the family, because of the pivotal roles she plays in preserving the health of its members, shaping their behaviors, and directing their paths, which leads to preparing generations more capable of adaptation and flexibility.
He added that this occasion, coinciding with the “Year of the Family,” embodies the depth of the bet on the cohesive family as the solid foundation for building prosperous societies, pointing out that the mother remains the beating heart of every family, with the renewed giving and care she provides that knows no interruption.
He stressed that the role of the mother increases in times of challenges, as mothers in various parts of Abu Dhabi continue to spread reassurance, establish stability within their families, and provide various means of care for their members, in a living reflection of the values on which the health system in the emirate is based.
He pointed out that the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi is moving forward in developing its health system, ensuring that mothers are able to access care, support and counseling services, thus enhancing their vital roles in building healthy families and a sustainable society.
For her part, Her Excellency Dr. Noura Khamis Al Ghaithi, Undersecretary of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, confirmed that the mother represents the focal point of the family and the source of its cohesion, with the active role she plays in promoting the health and care of its members in all circumstances.
She said that celebrating this occasion reflects the firm appreciation for mothers’ continuous giving and the daily responsibilities they bear, coupled with love and deep concern for the safety and well-being of their families.
She pointed out that the coincidence of Mother’s Day with the “Year of the Family” embodies a renewed commitment to enhancing the empowerment of mothers and facilitating their access to an integrated system of health care, support and advice, which contributes to improving their health and the health of their children, and supports the process of building a more interconnected and cohesive society, stressing that surrounding the mother with support and reassurance directly reflects on the stability of the family and the prosperity of society.
She stressed that Abu Dhabi continues to develop an advanced health system that places maternal health and well-being at the core of its priorities, stressing that the mother will remain a renewed source of inspiration, and her role is always appreciated and cherished.
