A partnership between “Dubai Future” and “Hamburg Trade” to enhance innovation

The Dubai Future Foundation has announced a new partnership with the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce with the aim of enhancing cooperation in the areas of innovation and foresight of the future and artificial intelligence, and the exchange of advanced experiences and applications and support for startups and entrepreneurs in the UAE and Germany.
A statement issued yesterday stated that this partnership was announced during the Foundation’s participation in the Dubai Business Forum – Germany, which was organized by Dubai Chambers in the city of Hamburg, with the aim of anticipating new economic opportunities and attracting companies and direct investments from Germany, which contributes to the consolidation of Dubai’s position as a global business destination in line with the targets of Dubai Economic Agenda «D33).
The agreement was signed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dubai Chambers, Sultan bin Saeed Al -Mansouri and the Director General of Dubai Chambers, Mohammed Ali Rashid Lootah. The Dubai Business Forum – Germany concluded its activities in Hamburg with the participation of 240 of the most prominent German businessmen and investors, and the presence of 44 participants from government agencies and private companies from Dubai, where the event formed a vital platform to formulate qualitative prospects for German companies to explore the investment opportunities that Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) in the future economy in Dubai.
In his opening speech to the forum, Sultan Al -Mansouri stressed that the established relations between Dubai and Germany depend on a joint commitment to sustainable development and innovation.
He said that trade and logistical services are an essential pillar of bilateral economic ties, as Germany is currently ranked 15th in the list of the largest Dubai trade partners globally, noting that in 2024, the value of non -oil trade between Dubai and Germany amounted to 39.7 billion dirhams with an annual growth of 8%.
He added that the number of new German companies that joined the membership of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce increased by 64% during the year 2024, while the total number of active German companies registered in the chamber membership at the end of the first quarter of this year reached 2719 companies.
