Perhaps I am seeking to run for the presidency one day

Donald Trump, the son, the eldest son of the American president, said today that he may seek to run for the presidential elections one day.

Trump, 47, received a question at the Qatar Economic Forum in Doha, whether he would run “and take over after his father leaves the position.

He said: “The answer is I do not know, perhaps one day … I will always be one of the strongest defenders of those things,” referring to the principles of a stream “to make America great again” which his father founded.

Donald Trump’s strength emerged in politics, as Reuters reported in November 2024 that he was the most influential family in the transitional period when his father was the government and preparing to return to the White House.

The American president, who appreciates loyalty, depends on his family members in political advice.

Sources said that Donald Trump, the son, contributed to strengthening and reducing the chances of candidates to join the government, including his support for the current Vice President JD Vans as a candidate for the position during the election campaign and prevented former Foreign Minister Mike Pompeo from joining the government.

“I see that my father changed the Republican Party really, I think it has become the American Party first, and (he strongly adopts principles) to make America great again,” Trump said.

He added: “For the first time ever, the Republican Party has already has a group of the most supportive of America’s policy first.”
