UAE is a global center for entrepreneurship and innovation

The UAE participated in the exhibition “GITEX Europe 2025”, within the framework of the state’s efforts to enhance its international presence, and consolidate its position in providing innovative and advanced solutions for the growth and sustainability of the economy, and its sponsorship of the platforms of technology pioneers in the world, where the exhibition represents an international occasion to explore commercial and investment cooperation opportunities in the areas of entrepreneurship, innovation and technology, and open new communication channels for emerging projects and small and medium enterprises In the country, in a way that contributes to supporting the process of sustainable development and enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy globally.
This came with the participation of a delegation headed by the Minister of State for Entrepreneurship, Alia Bint Abdullah Al -Mazrouei, where she participated in cutting the opening tape of the UAE pavilion in the exhibition, in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dubai Chambers, Sultan bin Saeed Al -Mansoori.
In this context, Alia Al Mazrouei stressed that «the UAE, thanks to the directives of the wise leadership and its forward -looking vision, continued with a confident pace towards consolidating its position as a global center for entrepreneurship and innovation, by developing a competitive and attractive business environment, and providing an integrated system that supports the growth of startups, small and medium, in a way that contributes to building a sustainable knowledge economy.”
Al Mazrouei pointed out that the GITEX Europe exhibition represents a new chapter for the GITEX Global exhibition, which was launched from Dubai more than four decades ago, to provide a strategic platform that reflects the UAE’s position as a global center for innovation and technology, and enhances international cooperation opportunities in developing digital solutions and exchanging experiences, in a way that contributes to building a more intelligent, sustainable and interconnected economic future.
She explained that the UAE pavilion at the “GITEX Europe” exhibition allows Emirati companies to review their innovative solutions, services and products to a group of business leaders and decision makers in Germany and Europe, which opens up new prospects for expansion and growth in promising European markets. The pavilion also provides an important opportunity to enhance commercial and investment partnerships and build fruitful cooperation relations with the European business community, in addition to exploring opportunities to develop small and medium enterprises and entering new sectors, especially in the areas of artificial intelligence, green technologies, industrial innovation, and digital transformation, in order to enhance the competitiveness of Emirati exports in future sectors.
Al -Mazrouei said: “The UAE’s participation in this international event reflects its firm commitment to strengthening its economic partnerships with the countries of the world, supporting the entrepreneur society and the shift towards a sustainable digital economy based on innovation and knowledge, and the development of a competitive economic model, in line with the targets of vision (we 2031) and aimed at establishing the state’s position as a global center for innovation and entrepreneurship.” She added: «The GITEX Europe exhibition represents a distinguished platform to introduce the competitive ingredients of the Emirati business environment, review the most prominent success stories achieved by emerging national companies in the areas of advanced technology, industrial innovation and green technologies, and an opportunity to hold new strategic partnerships that support the growth of knowledge economy and stimulate the adoption of the latest technological solutions in various vital sectors.
