"Dubai taxi" 6000 vehicles are included in the platform "Blit" Smart
Dubai, May 22 / WAM / The Dubai Taxi Company has included more than 6,000 taxis within the global “Bolt” application, in a move that enhances digital transformation in transportation services, and the expansion of electronic reservation of vehicles in the emirate, including vehicles of determination and ladies and families.
This comes within the framework of the company’s strategy for the period 2025 – 2029, aimed at consolidating its leadership as the largest taxi operator in the country, while the expansion comes in light of the growing demand for smart transport services in Dubai, to allow users the ability to reserve taxis through the application smooth Mobility and guarantee of service quality.
Ammar Al -Buraiki, Executive Director of Operations at Dubai Taxi Company, stressed that the inclusion of these vehicles is a pivotal shift in supporting the path of smart reservation and enhancing the efficiency of operations, noting that the future expansion will include emirates and additional sectors in line with Dubai’s tendencies towards a smart and sustainable city.
This move coincides with the Dubai government’s tendency to convert 80% of taxi trips to the electronic reservation system in the coming years, while the size of the digital transport services market in the emirate is estimated at more than 6 billion dirhams, amid accelerated growth that enhances the importance of integration with global digital platforms
